The Team Synergy Catalyst (TSC) is an innovative psychometric assessment tool developed by OrgDev.ai, designed to unlock the full potential of teams within any organization. This instrument is meticulously engineered to evaluate five critical dimensions of team effectiveness: Mission, Vision & Goals; Team Roles; Operating Process; Interpersonal Relationships; and Interteam Relationships. By providing a comprehensive analysis across these dimensions, TSC facilitates a deeper understanding of a team’s current dynamics, strengths, and areas for improvement.
How It Works
TSC operates through a structured survey comprising 50 targeted questions, distributed evenly across the five dimensions of team effectiveness. Participants respond to each item using a 5-point Likert scale, ranging from “Completely uncharacteristic of my team” to “Completely characteristic of my team.” This scaling approach allows for nuanced feedback that reflects the varying degrees of agreement or applicability of each statement to the team’s situation.
Upon completion, the survey scores are aggregated by category for each participant and then summed to produce an overall Team Effectiveness Score. This score places the team within one of five effectiveness levels: Immature Group, Fragmented Group, Cohesive Group, Effective Group, or Synergistic Group. Each level provides immediate, actionable insights into the team’s operational state, underlining both their accomplishments and challenges.
